A: If you’re feeling frustrated in your financial life due to your bank accounts not reflecting your salary, lack of support, feeling uneducated or any other reason, then this is a perfect starting place for you. And, even if you’re already in a stable or affluent place in your life, I promise you will learn something new and feel even more organized, healthy, conscious and inspired about money. The course is very strong on the practical side and balanced with thought-provoking exercises to increase your self-awareness as well.
Q: I’m not sure if I’m going to follow through and take full advantage … maybe I should wait?
A: It’s hard to explain, but something happens when people invest in themselves, particularly to focus on the topic of money. Clients reported after they signed up for the course, their communication around money flowed more, earning goals increased, they identified and stopped leaks in spending, their confidence expanded and literally bank account balances became larger. Wherever you are on your financial wellness journey, you’re welcome here.
Q: What is the time commitment?
A: We estimate the course will take about 4-5 hours to complete depending on how far you extend some of the writing exercises and other suggestions. You get access to the course for 90-days.
SUCCESS STORIES
“Months after the course, I feel confident and proud of how I am relating with money. I feel way more relaxed and with the SF Money Coach Community on Facebook, I feel supported by others and not alone in the process. It is not easy to look at this stuff, but it is really possible and actually fun to do. I feel closer to my husband and can breathe more easily now. Most importantly, I am grateful for what I have.”
— SINGER in OAKLAND, CA
“The best part of the course was how it facilitated a much needed self-reflection about my relationship with money. I was able to take inventory of what my true needs are and develop a personal finance tool-kit focused on clarity and accountability. Put simply, this course helped me declutter my mind and take the emotional baggage out of my personal finance decision-making.”
— Entrepreneur in London, England
“Thank you so much for your guidance. I feel extremely confident and secure about my situation after taking the Personal Finance 101 course. I gained so much clarity on where I am and what I need to do next. Also, the Money Affirmations triggered a lot of childhood memories regarding money, but good ones! I already started exploring the Financial Literacy Resources. I'm so excited to see where this journey takes me. Thank you again, I truly believe the Universe put you on my path for a reason.”
— Au Pair in San Jose, CA
“I loved your course and feel like I am getting back on track. This month, I paid off ALL of my credit card debt, so the course came into my life at a good time.”
— PERSONAL ASSISTANT IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA
“Before the course, I was struggling with uncertainty and anxiety about purchases small and big, worries about not saving ‘enough’, confusion about what I should be saving for, shame for not knowing how to properly keep track of expenses and budget accordingly, and feeling defeated that I just couldn't do the ‘adulting’ with the money. The course improved my financial life because now, I am feeling hopeful and eager to spend more time with my money. I have a better, more clear relationship with what I want my money to do and how I can make and meet goals with confidence. I feel more grounded, empowered and proud of myself for taking this step. I learned about money disorders, how mindfulness practices, core values and the law of attraction play a role in my ability to earn money and receive money. I see how I can intentionally decide what I want to spend money on instead of acting emotionally, unconsciously or impulsively to buy things that are not in alignment with my financial goals. One other shift is that I am now dedicating more time towards these efforts and I am actually checking in with my values before deciding to spend too much or too little on them. I am experimenting with the idea of and waiting before buying... it is difficult but I am clear and committed.”
— THERAPIST IN OAKLAND, CA
“Your teaching is fantastic and the course provides tremendous value. You helped me get out of debt once and for all and I’ve preached your periodic savings account method to dozens of people. Your methods are amazing and I'm so happy I took the leap.”
— ACTOR in New York City, NY
“I see the need to have a clear budget, plan our financial life and work together with my husband. I also see how these actions can empower us to leverage our money to worry less and get more of what we want. My sights are now set on savings and planning for the future.”
— PROFESSOR IN NEW YORK CITY, NY
“I learned the difference between wants and needs. I am now pausing and asking myself, "Do I really need this?" Especially now with one-click shopping, I am realizing just how important it is to pause. I am also seeing how my emotions impact my choices and purchase behavior and therefore how much I spend. I’ve started to add things to my online shopping carts and then walk away for a day or two. That space helps me reevaluate what I really need or want and gives me perspective on the amount of money I actually want to spend.
